HAY Bauble
Inspired by one of my favorite home decor brands, HAY Design, I wanted to design an aesthetically HAY tabletop collection that could encourage organization and mindfulness.
HAY Design is a Danish design company founded with a goal to create high-quality, affordable products for the evolving needs of daily life. HAY uses an effective combination of form, color, and innovation in their products to create products that elevate everyday life.

​The home is where we perform daily routines and rituals, and the cleanliness of our living space can affect our mood and level of comfort. Having aesthetically pleasing products to house our items helps associate a positive attitude towards organization and mindfulness. The purpose of a HAY inspired organization collection is to inspire users to feel more motivated to keep a clean space with functional and well-designed products.
The HAY Bauble Collection is made of recycled glass that allows users to organize small personal items neatly on display. The collection includes 4 pieces: tumbler, bud vase, stacking container trio, layered tray duo.​

Why HAY?
HAY's welcoming, modest, delicate, sensual, practical, and functional aesthetic appeals to a wide range of users, while also keeping sustainability at the forefront. I chose the brand HAY to address my behavioral change because their form, color, and material choices creates versatile everyday products that use power of good design to influence positive consumer behavior.

Exploration
I began by exploring different common household objects and forms that are similar to current HAY products. I then narrowed down the form factor and products I wanted to design and created quick mockups for proportion and scale.
